Start Here: Your First Tutoring Trial Lesson

Before: Pick one topic you can explain clearly, and plan 30 minutes: 5 minutes introduction, 20 minutes teaching with one example and one practice question, 5 minutes recap and feedback. During: Ask questions, listen, and do not rush. After: Write down what worked, what confused the student, and one thing to improve next time. Use the Trial-Lesson Planner to build the plan.
